claims- red tones
He grew up in the country, hunting, chopping down trees, and that was his life.
The way he grew up completely influenced his life.
He is a Christian.
He went to school, but he never loved it. The prom picture, bored school bus, and other classroom picture don't put school in a very good light. He would rather be alone, and be violent. He is not a people person.
You've made your claims; now explain what from the paintings supports those claims.
ReplyDeleteAlso, remember that you only use a comma with the conjunction if it's a compound sentence. What follows the conjunction has to be an independent clause. If it's not, don't use the comma with the conjunction.
"He would rather be alone, [no comma]and be violent."
The first claim about hunting is supported by him dragging a wagon of sticks, and his relatives that hunt in the first picture.
ReplyDeleteThe second claim is proved by there being older and younger pictures of him in the paintings. The younger ones show promise of the same adult life.
He is a Christian because of the angel scene at school.
The boy didn't love school because he never looks happy in any of his school paintings.
Thank you!!
