1. What do you think would have happened of the police hadn't been able to stop the riot? Would the people be able to take action and work together or would they fall apart?
I think if the had John, Bernard, and Helmholtz leading the pack then they might be able to actually do it. John had a discussion with Mond, and I think he could be extremely convincing. He has an advantage because he is actually more of what we consider to be "normal". he knows what it is like to have emotions and feelings, and I think he could really have an effect on society if he hadn't killed himself.
2. What exactly make this society believe that stability and happiness are more important then humanity?
I believe this society stuck on the fact that they think their world is perfect when we know it is not. However, they believe that things must be made perfect by controlling everyone's thoughts and actions. They feel that past societies have failed so the only way to be "perfect" is to create exactly what they want and need. They try to be stable by making everyone in that class equal. They are afraid that if they let people be themselves, be human with human desires, then their world will spin out of control. They are scared.

Communist Utopia by Thomas Hornung
- One man, one large overseeing eye. It is always watching you. It shows overpowering rule.
-He thinks it will lead to disaster because the painting is dark, stormy, and the wall is destroyed. This is a very dilapidated place and it is quite gloomy. There was previously life here (trees), but the communist has taken that out.
-It seems perfect but it is really a dystopia. It is a communist place, but it isn't really a utopia. The idea of communism is prefect, but in reality it is far from from that.

Don't You want me? The Human League
1. They are talking about this guy who found this waitress and made her a star. She is in the celebrity world, and he is like the producer. Se has become famous and ditched him when he made her.
2. The guy gives himself credit for helping her, but the girl gives herself credit. She says that should have gotten to be famous either way.
2. I agree with the guy because I feel she would not be where she is now without him. I think she is just being haughty and the fame as gone to her head.
